The first reunion of the Senior Class of 1955 was held on December 26, 1964 at Potters Community Center in Albany, GA. Charlotte Curry was the instigator of the affair and was assisted by Bruce Jones, Jr. and Mary Ann Johnson. There were approximately 140 people in attendance with about half of those being members of the class. Emory Lewis presided at the event.Wayne Hammond gave the invocation and bar-b-que was served.
Prizes were given to the following persons: Jimmy Watson - furthest distance traveled; Roy Staines - married the longest; Bill Sellers - married the shortest; Betty Black - most children (4); and Jackie Clark -baldest.
Members of the faculty present included: Mrs. Dobbins, Mrs. Thornton, Mr. Bragg, Mr. O'Brien, and Coach Pat Fields.
The Alma Mater preceded the dinner. Eugene Stripling called the roll.
